On west part of the lake, the cycling route turns through idylic vineyards. Donnerskirchen, Breitenbrunn or Purbach temptate the cyclists for diversion to „Cherry Flowers Route“ (B 12). In the community of Oggau, there is connection to Kogl-Route. This route is 34 kms long and passes around nature protected area of „Rohrbacher Kogl“, through hilly terrain, whereas the mounting between communities of Zemendorf and Pottelsdorf is a really challenge for cyclists. This way offers also the views into nature protected area, where rare grasses and pasque-flower great are to be found.
