Salt And Lake Route - Austria
Salt And Lake Route
At first, the cyclists would reserve the time for old Celtic town of Hallein. Your way via communities of Golling, Kuchl and Puch leads you back to the town of Salzburg. Active sportsmen prefer the route via communities of Faistenau and Fuschl am See. You can follow Old Ischl Railway, reaching Wallersee Lake, and Three Trum Weirs, popular, thanks to summer bathing.
This cycling route, through moderately hilly countryside, leads not only towards most beautiful lakes, but also to Michaeilbeuren Benedictine Abbey and to very known chapel of „Silent Nicht Song“ in Oberndorf.
