Valley dam Seč was built during 1925-1934 on Chrudimka river. The dam is situated inplaces where there was inundated originally eleven houses, big esate, four mills and four saw-mills.
At present, this place is biggest and very popular holiday resort of Pardubice region.
In 1996 there was even declared nature reservation, including ruins of Vildštejn and Oheb castles, situated along lateral parts of this dam. Seč dam is very suitable locality for fishing. Pier-dam was built between rocks and it is formed of granite blocks, transported here byans of rope-railway from a quarry of Libochov.

A speciality of this dam is a fact that the pipe, leading water to hydro-electric-power-station, is made from wood.
