ŽLUTICE DAM
Žlutice dam is placed on Střela river in an altitude of 540 m. It was built during 1965-1968, in order to serve as drinking-water reservoir for towns of Žlutice, Toužim and Podbořany, and also for fishing. So, swimming as well as water activities and fishing are not allowed here.
Basin surface: 161,5 ha
Total basin volume: 14,54 mil. m3 (1 mil.m3 is standard, and 11,8 mil. m3 serves as water supply reserve)
