Medvědí stezka (Bear's path)
This excursion could be started at Černý Kříž (Black Cross) railway station. However, we do not recommend you to walk through this route in winter or during hard rain. The path leads you via Preserved National Countryside Bohemian Forest. One of stops is to be found at Schwarzenberg navigation cannal. This cannal served for wood transport, even up to Vienna, in past. At present, this cannal is taken as an important technical monument. On the route, there is built artificially water basin Jelení jezírko (Deer Lake), serving for increasing of water level in Schwarzenberg cannal. Not far from this path, there is to be found Lipno water basin (dam). This path is the second oldest ome in Czech Republic. You walk could be terminated at Ovesná railway station.
