Závist
Závist fortification belongs to our greatest oppidum (pieces of ground). This place was colonized just in Stone Era. Celtic colonization is documented with most of findings. The area had quite advantageous strategic position even, when Celtic fortification ceased to exist, and was used for. This territory is mostly afforested. Břežany brook is flowing through the valley. The gold was washed out here, and the brook was a source ow water. Vltava-river and digged ditches became another sources of water supply. During Celtic stay, great terrain changes were effected. A ditch was broken out on three parts, and the material was used for fortification embankment. The archaeological findings give a proof that golden coins were produced here. On east direction, the fields only are to be found.
