Děd Look Out Tower - Czech republic
Děd Look Out Tower
Nerby the river: Berounka
The look out tower is situated on Děd Hill top, in an altitude of 492 metres above sea level, in west direction from the town of Beroun. The construction is 12 metres high and is free accessible for public. However, the visibility is rather limited, owing to near forest. So, the view is possible in north direction, towards Kladno and Křivoklát Highland only.
History:
This look out tower was finished in 1893, and it was the first construction, built by Bohemian Tourist´s Club. 56 stages lead upstairs to view platform.
