From beautiful town of Františkovy Lázně, you can make easy excursion in surroundings. Around America Pond (with nature monument of the same name), you drive via community of Dolní Lomany, and continue, following green marked tourist trail, via Antonín Výšina (Anthony Height). From here, there is very nice view on Cheb region. You pass Štekr Mill (popular place by tourists) with style restaurant, where you can take a refreshment. In this building, there are to be found stables and run-horses are to be bred. Green marked tourist trail leads you to the community of Žirovice, turn to the right and follow red marked tourist path, passing community of Stodola, where you can find Motýlí Museum (Butterfly Museum). You can admire flying butterflies in glass-house. Provided you are satisfied with museum sightseeing, you can continue your way, following red marked tourist trail up to the community of Hájek, where you find Soos Museum, dedicated to reservations and nature of Cheb region. Provided you intend to continue, you turn aside in the community of Nový Drahov to the right, and via Třebeň you return to Františkovy Lázně.
