Čartak Look Out Tower
This youngest Beskydy look out tower is arisen on Čartak Hill (953 m above sea level), situated near cross border Bumbalka. This tower was constructed for purposes of Eurotel company. It was necessary to establish here base station in this area. Nevertheless, the permission from nature protectors was obtained under a condition that the construction does not disturb countryside character, and the building would be usable for visitors of mountains.
So, the designers proposed a construction, formed with concrete nucleus, and from its outside part covered with pine boards. The tower is 30 metres high. In a height of 26 metres, there is to be found view platform. In order to mount here, you need to climb 137 stages. The look out tower was open for public on 28th June 1998.
