Bechyně Spa is situated in quiet environment, in valley of Lužnice river, South Bohemia region, in an altitude of 423 metres above sea level. Preserved written notices about mineral sources existence (known as Libušiné Spa in past) come of 1730. Nevertheless, main balneology swing (when founded ferruginnous springs served for baths and drinking cures) came within 19th century. However, as a consequence of building of new airport, there occured to doom its strongest spring. So, the spa used for their healing cures mud-baths only.
