Bohdaneč healing spa
Bohdaneč Healing Spa is surrounded with green. It is situated on areas of ponds and forests, in Polabí plainland, not far from the town of Pardubice, in an altitude of 218 metres above sea level. The first balneology house was established by reconstruction of original distillery in 1897, when also first spa season was open. Three years later, the spaces were enlarged, from capacity reasons, in other building with real estate. However, this was not sufficient, owing to increasing demand, so other pavillons were constructed and set into operation, under protection of the community. To local healing sources belong, first of all, mud-baths from vast peat-bog strata and thermal, mineral iron-alcalic water, at temperature of 21° C, being drawn from sinking of 347,5 metres depth. Nature sources are being used in balneo-therapy for preparation of peat-bog as well as carbonic baths. Its effects act in positive way on moving apparatus, oriented for reumatologic diseases and rehabilitation after injuries. Bohdaneč Spa is popular place of relax. The environment of vast park is flown with Rajský brook. You find here more than one hundred of wooden trees. It is an ideal place for regeneration and taking of new energy. This countryside offers to visitors enough possibilities for cultural as well as sporting activities.
