Klášterec nad Ohří Spa Eugenia is placed along bank of Ohře-river, in nature of Ore Mountains, Ústí nad Labem region, in an altitude of 330 metres above sea level. In 1881, there were discovered in chateau park, at well-deepening, mineral sources. So, the owner let to construct here pillar altan with filling-room. New pavillons and park (dimension of 2,5 ha) were created. at the same time. Most strongest spring bears the name after Eugenia, owner´s wife. At the other spring, there were found small spa in Neo-classic style. Both springs are determinated for drinking cures and exportation, as table mineral water. Total spa renovation was effected at the end of 20th century, at its re-opening and starting of its operation. Local, weakly mineralized cold water, with contents of oxyde carbonic, natrium, calcium, potassium, fluorie and acide silicate is suitable during indigestions, gall-blader troubles, and it serves also as prevention against urinary stones. The town of Klášterec nad Ohří is declared as monument zone. It offers to visitors cultural and historical monuments, such as, for instance, local chateau with English park and Baroque statues´ collection, or standard exhibition of Bohemian china (porcellain). River-bed of Ohře suits all lovers of nature or active relax.
