Trenčianske Teplice Spa is placed in west part of Slovakia, near to the border with Czech Republic, in calm valley, surrounded with mixed forests of Strážov Highlands. Five healing springs well up here, at the temperature of 37-40 °C, containing sulphur, calcium and magnesia. Local thermal water is suitable for treatment of nervous diseases and moving apparatus.
Town´s boasting is Hammam, historical building of 1888, constructed on wish of Ifigenia de Castres, owner of Court architect of Egyptian monarch. This building served, as the first in Europe, as bath possibility for rich aristocracy of man sex. At present, this pleasant and exotic environment is accessible fully for public.
