Local forests suffered heavily attacks from nature accidents. Within 1946-1952, pine bark-beetle was multiplied in enormous quantities, and in 1990, night gale caused routing out and breaking of many trees, presenting 63000 cubic meters of wooden material. This makes more than double of year´s excavations. Local forests were in state ownership, so Forests of Czech Republic, Hradec Králové, State Enterprise looks after. This company keeps forest corpse in such way, in order to be maintained as healthy and resistant. The wood is being cut down in a moment when further small trees are planting below old pieces So, no empty glades remain here. Now, you find retranslation tower on Louštín peak. There are no traces after wooden look out tower which was to be found here in past. The peak is of flat formation, documenting where the sea was at the end of Secondary era. You can find here mounds and ditches, rests after local piece of ground. Nevertheless, you can enjoy marvellous view towards Křivoklát forests. You can admire small water reservoirs in forests, there are 13 altogether, and they enrich all local communion around. Several sorts of amphibians are multiplying her, and the birds have their nests along overgrown banks.
