Giant Mountains' cycling educational path
Your excursion could be started on crossroads below Černá bouda (Black Cottage). If you wish to avoid unpleasant mounting from Janské Lázně up to Černá Hora (Black Mountain), you start at upper station of rope-railway Janské Lázně-Černá hora. The bicycles could be transported free of charge. The path leads along parts of Černá and Světlá hora, via Vlašské and Krausovy Cottages. It is worth to visit local milk farm Sosna (Pine). The path is open for public since 1st June till 15th October. Nevertheless, the cyclists could move here till 17,00 h only, as there is necessary to secure a peace for animals. The path passes through IIIrd zone of Giant Mountains National Park, so it is absolutely necessary to keep visitors´ order. On the other hand, the terrain is quite easy. You find here nine stops altogether.
