Hamr - in traces of soviet army
Provided you wish to drive through deserted (unpeopled) area where in past operated soldiers of Austro-Hungarian Army, German Wehrmacht, former Czechoslovak Peoples Army and Soviet Army, you have chosen right this route. The path starts at Hamr-swimming pool. From here, it follows to crossroads, where you find Sochr-Monument. Aside, on rocky-block, you can have a look ruin-rests of Stohánek castle. Turn to the right, and from small hill you reach Hvězdov. You continue - moderately rising, to cross-roads, where originally there was placed former Soviet air-shooting-range Židlov. After rather difficult 200 m long mounting, you reach horizon,where you will be surprised with delightful view to all parts around. You can fully enjoy a view to Ještěd, Ralsko and Bezděz-Castle. You took delight in marvellous view, you descend to community named Na Pince, ideal place for refreshment and relax. After having a rest, you return, across Osečná and Podvrší, back to Hamr.
One small warning: the ways have very uneven surface, nevertheless, it could be quite attractive for you, if you drive through military area!

Character: rather difficult route, suitable for trekking bikes with flexible bifurcation.
