St.Anne Peat Bog Spa in Bělohrad is situated in afforested countryside, below peaks of Giant Mountains, Region of Hradec Králové, in an altitude of 297 metres above sea level. The beginnings of purificated baths are dated from 1872. First attempts with healing results come to 1885. Later, in 1891, building of balneology house, with wings towards both parts, was started. The spa lived through its greatest boom within 20th century. At the beginning, there was scooped a boring, containing iron - arsenic spring in neighbouring Bažantnice Park. The spa undergone total reconstruction. New or renovated healing pavillons, hotels, restaurants, villas, rehabilitation basins and water-healing institute were constructed. So, main nature healing source of St.Anne spa, there is peat bog of best quality,weakly mineralized, serving for baths and wrappings, which act beneficently for moving apparatus and rheumatism. Modern equipped wellness centre offers perfect relax.
