Velichovky Spa is placed in nature park below tops of Giant Mountains, Hradec Králové Region, in an altitude of 290 metres above sea level. The construction of first spa houses was made in 1897. One year later, spa saison was open. Nature healing source is made with local chalk dense mud, created by means of sources of water, rich on calcium carbonate and iron. The finding place is situated nearby the area. Healing force of mud and the certification of European level classified this spa to very popular European places. The treatment is specialized for diseases of moving apparatus and nervous system. In 2007, private environment of calm (quiet) and relax, was introduced - known under name of Medical Wellness Institute, where the visitors find their lost energy. Leasure time could be spent by means of excursion, relax or active sports, or visit of historical places of interest situated nearby.
