Travelling to Monte Negro
Your travelling passport must be valid. Nevertheless, in case of Monte-Negro, local government enables the entry for citizen of Czech Republic also on base of presentation of personal identity card. Attention: this document could be applicated as travelling document for entry in Monte-Negro only, for Serbia you are obliged to use a passport. With regard to a fact that this is one-side arrangement of the third party, Czech Republic is not responsible for application of this act, or for possible complications, which could occur at entry or stay in territory of Monte-Negro. The citizens of Czech Republic are allowed to enter and stay in territories of Serbia and Monte-Negro without visa for time period of 90 days, anyway, with valid travelling documents only, if there are the journeys, not looking for jobs, or in case of transit. Provided you have the intention to look for some profitable activities or studying possibilities, you are obliged to ask for visa which will be granted at the Embassy of Serbia-Monte-Negro in Prague. In Serbia and Monte-Negro, you have to fulfill your announcement duty (within 24 hours after arrival), i.e. the foreigner has to apply for his accommodation at police station, due to the place of his temporary stay, and so called „white card“ is issued to him. This document is required by guards of order and traffic police , and occassionally also by passport controls at exit points of Serbia and Monte-Negro. Provided this duty could not be fulfilled, it could cause, within scope of„ offence control“ , bring even a punishment of short-dated imprisonment (in general 4-7 days), granting of disciplinary penalty, or even prohibition of next journeys to Serbia and Monte-Negro. Anyway, in case of accommodation in hotel, this duty is fulfilled by lodging staff. Attention: before you leave the country, it is necessary the notice of departure at the respective police station.
