Zvikov castle is a symbol of the region of South Bohemia. It has guarded the confluence of the Otava and Vltava rivers since the beginning of the 13th century. Then the castle was standing on a high rock projection and guarded the wild river on the bottom of a deep canyon. Rather docile, the castle has been standing on the side of the Orlicka Dam for last 60 years.

This one is situated between Branisko, the Levoccske hills, the Hornadska basin just several kilometers from Spissky Castle. The village is called Polanovce.
