Budapest is the capital of Hungary. Its 1.75 million people makes it EU's 9th largest city. Originaly, Budapest was three cities - Budín (Buda), Old Budín and Pest. In 1873, the cities became one large city. Budapest is on the both banks of Danube and even on couple of islands. Large part of the city center is protected b UNESCO.
