Today we set out on a 5-kilometer trail from Karlova Studánka upstream the Bílá Opava River through a unique nature reserve. The place is beautiful, but prepare yourself for a few challenging obstacles like slippery rocks or logs across the road. We recommend that you follow the nature trail, where you can find out on 13 panels about the surrounding forest, its inhabitants and the geological history of the place, thanks to which the waterfalls and cascades originated. Here you forget all the worries of everyday life.
Do you make trips to the Jeseniky Mountains? Be sure to stop in the national nature reserve of Rejviz near the town of Jesenik. There are unique peat bogs, wetlands and a settlement of the same name where you can buy some snack.
Let's go together for a 5 km long trail from Karlova Studánka upstream of the Bílá Opava through a unique nature reserve. The river cuts into a deep canyon and forms countless cascades, rapids and waterfalls.
In the heart of the deep forests of the Hrubý Jeseník Mountains, visit the picturesque spa village with beautiful architecture and the surrounding nature and peaceful atmosphere. You will also find a waterfall, a geological exposition or a 600-meter long ski slope.
On the outskirts of the town of Jeseník you can visit another of the unique places of our beautiful country. In 1822 Vincenz Priessnitz founded the world's first hydrotherapy institute. To this day, there is a popular spa, surrounded by beautiful mountain nature.
Endless hiking trails in unspoiled nature, meditation tranquility, cozy little village with interesting building monuments and in the center of everything a hotel with amazing wellness, where they will take care of their guests great. Isn't this the sky of a tourist? We are convinced.
Most trips to the Jeseníky Mountains go to Praděd. A lot of people can get to Šerák only thanks to the cable car. At the same time, Šerák and the adjacent Keprník offer a hike through beautiful nature. For example, from Ramzová around the Giant Rocks, where we will go together now.
When I have learned recently that Lonely Planet declared Brno the least interesting city in the Czech Republic I couldn’t understand. Then I realized that it was good they said it after all. Had crowds of tourists been going there every day as they go to Prague it would soon loose its magic. Brno is a city of universities, fun, culture and many small, lovely places. The turning clock in the shape of a male genitalia from which a small glass ball falls out every hour. Smoking road signs are really to be found only here… New York Times was much more smarter. They put Brno on the list of 52 places where to go in 2016!
As was told in the first part, now you know why to go to Brno. You know where to start your exploration of the historical district and where to have lunch. What is next? We are going to spend some moments on Svoboda square. There is a mysterious astronomical clock. We cant avoit a visit to Spilberk castle, Villa Tugendhat (under UNESCO) and a functionalist borough around it. Of course, we are going to have a taste of the night life, great beer or wine, and we are going to see some glimpses of local students ’life. So let’s get started!
