In 1822, Vincenz Priessnitz established the first hydrotherapy institute in the world on the outskirts of the town of Jeseník. The baths have been in operation ever since. The water is mainly used for external application - bubble bath, underwater massage and hot and cold rotation. However, it is also important to walk in the fresh air, for example in to the Rychlebské Mountains. You can learn more about the spa and the procedures themselves from the boards on the nature trails, but you can also visit various sightseeing places or memorable rocks.
Do you make trips to the Jeseniky Mountains? Be sure to stop in the national nature reserve of Rejviz near the town of Jesenik. There are unique peat bogs, wetlands and a settlement of the same name where you can buy some snack.

We left Republiky sqaure for St Wenceslas Cathedral situated on Wenceslas square. The cathedral houses Roman Catholic archdiocesis of Olomouc. The grandiose Romanesque/Gothic structure has some Baroque features and rich decoration of sculptures. It is true jaded gem of the city.
