The history of Tišnov dates back to the 13th century, when the Porta Coeli monastery was founded in the neighboring Předklášteří. The most significant monument of the city is the Gothic church of St. Wenceslas from the 15th century, then the Neo-Renaissance town hall and Baroque houses. Lovers of architecture will certainly appreciate it here. We also recommend climbing the Klucanina hill, from which a beautiful view of the surroundings awaits you, walking along the Road of the Throat Law or taking a longer trip to Trenckovagorge or Pernštejn.
South Moravia is often called the land of sun and wine. The number of cultural sights of different historic periods is without parallel in th Czehc Republic. However, no other architectonic style is more present here than the Baroque.
Mutěnice (Mutenitz in German) is a village in the South Moravian Region in the district of Hodonín. They are about 10 kilometers away from the district town of Hodonín, to the northwest. Mutěnice has over 3,700 inhabitants and the cadastral area of the village is approximately 3,237 hectares. The Mutěnický stream flows through the village. The village is located at an altitude of 170-265 meters above sea level.
On the territory of the South Moravian village Mikulčice there is one of the most important archeological sites in the Czech Republic, which is undoubtedly related to the early history of our state.
