France, Cote d’Azur V: Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël
heading (paragraph): States
Published: 30.10.2015

Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël are both great alternative to Saint-Tropez. The atmosphere is very similar and, moreover, you can have a glimpse to the oldest history as sights from the Roman empire era have been preserved. Fréjus was founded in the Middle-Ages. It lays further from the coast unlike Saint-Raphaël which was founded a port. There are several sand beaches, or you can sit at its many cafes, or just walk down the historical center. This twin town on the Cote d’Azur is a place where you should spend some couple of days. Well, lets see it in our video yourselves.

„When they want to get rid of them, rich Parisians send their children here to study at the university. So, it is expensive here but the life is vibrant,“ says Louis about his home-town, a guy I met during my stay there. Indeed, for a long time I haven’t been to a place that would have so much of student atmosphere yet it wasn’t flooded with “poor” hipster cafes. Add more than two thousand years of history, narrow streets with old houses made of sandstone and friendly inhabitants of Provence. This makes almost perfect image of one of the most famous towns in the south of France.
