Come with us to Záhorie, where we will visit the village of Kuklov, which, thanks to its history and personalities, is one of the leading villages in the region. Here you will find many historical monuments, including Marcinkov's water mill, the classicist church of St. Stephen the King or the Calvary complex with slender chapels with shallow relief depictions of Christ's Way of the Cross.

SK, Čáry: A Village in Záhorie – VIDEO

We will go for the beauties of sacral monuments even today. This time we will visit the village of Čáry in the northern part of the Záhorská lowland. It is located in the valley of the river Myjava, about 22 km from the district town Senica. It is adjacent to the important pilgrimage town of Šaštín-Stráže or the village of Gbely, a famous oil field.

It is 17 km away from the district town of Senica and consists of two cadastral areas, namely Lakšárská Nová Ves and Mikulášov. It borders Šaštín-Stráže, Borský Mikuláš or the Záhorie military district.
