At the confluence of the Žitava and Zlatnianka rivers lies the district town of Zlaté Moravce, a town of nearly 12 thousand inhabitants. From the tourist point of view, it offers a large number of sights and attractions, including the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, the bank building with elements of Renaissance and Baroque style, the neo-Romanesque mausoleum or the Migazzi castle.
Today we visit city called the mother of all Slovakian cities- Nitra. We decided to spend some number of days in this city to learn about it as much as possible. It is spread over seven hills, and has magnificent nature, sights, and interesting history.
We concluded our hike across Nitra at “historical” graffiti last week. It was interesting for us and it also showed us the direction we would choose. Not even a minute later we were on maintained Zupni Square and a yellow building as its landmark.
In the southwestern Slovakia lies the Nitra Region, whose natural border with Hungary is the Danube River. It is one of the warmest and at the same time one of the driest areas in Slovakia. It has an important place in history, because its metropolis, ancient Nitra, played an important role in shaping the Slovak nation, its culture and education.
Dear readers, today we would like to introduce you the largest exhibition grounds in Slovakia – Agrokomplex. It is opened during the whole year and in every season of the year it has something to offer its visitors. We believe we will convince you about that in the following article.
In the south of Slovakia, less than 100 kilometers east of Bratislava, you will find a picturesque town with the same name on the Nitra River. It played an important role in Slovak history and many monuments have been preserved to this day. Let's have a look at the most interesting places together.

The village of Topolčianky, surrounded by the slopes of Pohronský Inovec and the Tríbeč Mountains, stretches along the old Slavic road that led from the lower Pohronie to the upper Nitra. The town with more than 2800 inhabitants offers to see a beautiful castle, the National Stud Farm and the Zubří Zoo. So let's go for a walk.
Autumn is nearing its peak. Before winter starts, we set out ot Topolcany district, to Radosin town which became famous thanks to Radosin Naive Theater. Today, we are not going to visit the town itself but the nature sight of Certova Pec.
