SR, Hlohovec - Town of Natural and Cultural Treasures
heading (paragraph): Towns
On the banks of the Váh River and the south-western edge of the Považský Inovec Mountains, it extends over the 20 thousand inhabitants of the district town of Hlohovec. It offers visitors a beautiful castle, a unique Empire theatre where the famous composer Ludwig van Beethoven played, and a castle park with terraced grounds and the largest plane tree grove in Central Europe. And that's far from all.
