The village of Tomášikovo is situated between the Černá voda and Malý Dunaj rivers. Apart from the magnificent Esterházy Castle and the technical monument of folk architecture - the Water Wheel Mill - it also offers the Baroque Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity, a large English park or the late-classical Trinity Column from the middle of the 19th century.

In the southwestern part of Slovakia, approximately 50 km from Bratislava, lies the town of Galanta. Although it is a small town in terms of its area, it offers visitors a lot of interesting things in terms of monuments and history.
The community of Šala went, during its thousand years lasting evolution, through many changes. The locality became handicrafts' centre in Middle Age, thanks to its advantageous position in Danube plainland. This countryside had exclusively agricultural character.
In the surroundings of Kolárovo locality, at the branch of Váh-river, the unique technical monument was "anchored" - the last from swimming mills. Moreover, you can admire another place of interest, probably the longest covered wooden bridge in Central Europe.
In Dunajska Streda district situated about 40 kilometers southeash from Bratislava, there is Gabcikovo town. The first document declaring its existance comes from 1102. In the town, there is a chateau with towers, or St Margarita Roman Catholic church constructed in 1397.
Not far from Dunajská Streda (near the famous Slovakiaring road) there is a refuge not only for felines - the Malkia Park. Today, we invite you to stroll through this unique park, which is primarily a rescue station for animals that were placed under inappropriate conditions.
