We have a short documentary about old ways of smithery. Master smith Jaroslav Kaufner presented his art in Ctenice Riding Club.

Kamenice nad Lipou a city of four thousand people is a part of the Pelhřimov District in Vysočina Region it is located by the River Kamenice in 563 meters above the sea level.
Old buildings with arched portals are typical sight of Drevcice, a village near Prague. Across this very village St Wenceslas passed during his last ride to Brandys. There are many such edifices in the village. Local architecture will catch your attention. Despite they are truly enchanting, we are more interested in medieval fortress that was used to be known as Villa Dreucici.
A blacksmith has arrived to stables of Ctěnice Riding Club. It isn’t something unusual. Every hoof needs his attention once in two months. However, we were there with our camcorder and we prepared a minidocumentary about good old blacksmith craft. We inspected the work of Jaroslav Kaufner.
We went to Blatná, this time not to show you the beauty of the city, but because Miroslav Simandl, there showed almost perfect work with his horses.
Not so long ago, the Prague City Hall has invested in extensive reconstruction of the castle Ctěnice considerable sum. Today in the castle area, which people in a short period of time can easily fall in love, it is not possible to give even a cup of coffee.
Interesting and picturesque town is located on a border of two regions – Prague East and Kolin. According to the authorities, it used to be part of Kolin. However, few years ago somebody decided that Kostelec nad Cernymi lesy would far better if it is closer to Prague. So now it is definitively in the Prague East district.
It is easy to find a pathway leading to Skvorec castle located in the town of the same name in the region of Kolin. You just ask locals or go along the main road.
Spring is playing with us. One day it is 16 degrees Celsius the other it’s snowing. However, it changes nothing about the fact spring, the most beautiful of all seasons of the year, is coming. Not only people but animals as well can sense it.
Strašnice in Prague – only few would go there to try to find some landmark. And yet some fans of architecture would admire Trmal’s Villa, today a museum. The architect Jan Kotěra, the founder of modern Czech architecture, built it in 1902-1903.
In Nehvizdy a small town, a baroque church is bathing under the sun. It is dedicated to St Wenceslaus and it tries to catch your attention. Another interesting thing about this place are events that had happened here during the Second World War, because in Nehvizdy a period of repressions caused by Heydrich’s assassination began.
