Perštejn Castle was built in the 13th century and during its entire existential non-existence of animals. Originally bad power, but as the power of the Pernštejns grew, so did the castle itself. The complex also includes gardens, and their several-year reconstruction could be completed this summer. And when you combine the visit with a walk around the NS Pernštejn, look at some beautiful views.

As was told in the first part, now you know why to go to Brno. You know where to start your exploration of the historical district and where to have lunch. What is next? We are going to spend some moments on Svoboda square. There is a mysterious astronomical clock. We cant avoit a visit to Spilberk castle, Villa Tugendhat (under UNESCO) and a functionalist borough around it. When I have learned recently that Lonely Planet declared Brno the least interesting city in the Czech Republic I couldn’t understand. Then I realized that it was good they said it after all. Had crowds of tourists been going there every day as they go to Prague it would soon loose its magic. Brno is a city of universities, fun, culture and many small, lovely places. The turning clock in the shape of a male genitalia from which a small glass ball falls out every hour. Smoking road signs are really to be found only here… New York Times was much more smarter. They put Brno on the list of 52 places where to go in 2016!
The Moravian Karst is undoubtedly the most beautiful area in the Czech Republic. Blansko, a town offering many historical, cultural, nature, and other sights, is located right there. It is also an ideal destination for a trip for couple of days for its great life in culture and perfect sport opportunities.
Today we look again into the beautiful city in the heart of beautiful nature. Yes, we talk about Blansko, the entrance to the Moravian Karst. But it is not only that. It is a place of fascinating sights we take look at on the following lines.
Once we visited Blansko chateau and St Martin church we set off to a wooden structure. We spotted it when we observed the town. This structure is a church which actually doesn’t fit in the city’s architecture.
Not far from Pernštejn Castle, along the Svratka River, lies the town of Doubravník. At first glance, you will be fascinated by the majestic Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and there is plenty to discover in the area. Let's go to Doubravník together now.
