Right at the edge of the inconspicuous Choceň begins the beautiful valley of Tichá Orlice. Although the city has never been significant, in the 19th century it became an important railway junction, which is still today. You can visit the castle, baroque church or Tyršovo Square. Choceň, however, serves as a great starting point for trips to the surrounding countryside. Amazing views of the valley awaits you in the Peliny Nature Reserve, you can also visit Devil's Gorge or the ruins of Brandys Castle.
Near the former border of Bohemia and Moravia lies the town of Litomyšl, which is one of the most picturesque in the Czech Republic. Thanks to the fact that several important personalities were born or stayed here, many cultural events and festivals continue their tradition. Let's go to Litomyšl together.

I love Pardubice. Hence, I would like to give you some tips where to go. I love to walk around Pardubice chateau. This beautiful Renaissance-style structure was listed in the list of significant Bohemian cultural landmarks in 2010.
Last week we started with our tour around Olomouc. We briefly told you about its history. The point of start was Horni square. The Holy Trinity column, and the town hall with a tower belong to its main landmarks.
We left Republiky sqaure for St Wenceslas Cathedral situated on Wenceslas square. The cathedral houses Roman Catholic archdiocesis of Olomouc. The grandiose Romanesque/Gothic structure has some Baroque features and rich decoration of sculptures. It is true jaded gem of the city.
