More than eleven thousand people live in this pleasant city, which is tightly linked with many socially prominent personalities. Domažlice lies 53 km from Pilsen, just 14 kilometers from the border crossing Folmava.

Don’t be confused. Winter is the best season to watch underwater life. Pikes, pikeperches, crucians, and carps swim in clear water around you. A quarry in Mrakov, Domazlice region, is a great place for this activity.
A large nature complex with ponds – former Renaissance garden crossed by circuit nature trail – is part of Horsovsky Tyn chateau. The trail would take you to three historicaly valuable buildings: loreto chapel, gloriette, and summer house. Despite the bikers are forbidden to enter, few abide by.
