Today we take a look to Kutna Hora, the downtown of which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area was famous for its silver mining, and in the 10th century the denarias were minted. You can also visit the Czech Museum of Silver, but the main goal is probably the Church of St. Barbara or ossuary in the adjoining Sedlec.
In Kourim, ancient and picturesque town located right in the astronomic center of Europe, we visited an open-air museum – it seems that for the last time it its current shape. In the future, it will expand and get many more historical buildings.
Kolin is not simply an industrial center, it is also a place of rich history and precious sights. It is a place where those which those who love culture will enjoy and the same goes for people who love sports, adults and children as well.
There are only a few cathedrals in the Czech Republic that can compete with Prague in their beauty. The Gothic temple of St. Barbora is one of them, the circumstances of the creation are, moreover, absolutely unique. Let's take a look at the cathedral now and then in the pictures and videos.
