A Romanesque church on Bílenecké Square in Dolní Chabry, Prague, discreet by proportions, however, it is one of the greatest mysteries in the Czech Republic. Present shape of the building originates from the 12th century and its basement hides three older sacral buildings, one of them is from the 10th century. Archeologists discovered very precious are Romanesque paintings the church's apsis, or paving stones.
A blacksmith has arrived to stables of Ctěnice Riding Club. It isn’t something unusual. Every hoof needs his attention once in two months. However, we were there with our camcorder and we prepared a minidocumentary about good old blacksmith craft. We inspected the work of Jaroslav Kaufner.
The Chuchelský háj nature trail passes through the nature reserve above Prague's Chuchle, which connects to the Barrandovské skály nature trail. It will take you along a yellow tourist and at the same time cycling asphalt road, mostly through deciduous vegetation from Velká to Malá Chuchle, or vice versa. The biggest attraction, especially for children, is the local zoo.
The forest-park on the south-eastern edge of Prague, founded at the beginning of the 18th century as a part of the Milíčov Court, is perfect for a walk on a hot summer day. The paths take you to relaxation areas, a children's playground or ponds where people can swim. However, bathing dogs is prohibited.
