The little town of Vamberk is located in the foothills of the Orlicke Mountains. Have you heard about it before, but can not you see why the town is interesting? It's because of lacing! The lacing tradition began here in the 17th century, and even the first lace school was established here. Today you can visit the museum, where you can learn everything about the lace. A small town near Rychnov nad Kneznou is not known by many. Local area is crossed by the Divoka Orlice River. Nobility built chateaus in the past in the area. Doubdleby town also features a chateau adorned by countless sgrafitti ornaments.

If you are planning to make a trip to the eastern part of the Orlicke Mountains, you should definitely stop in a beautiful town at the foot of the mountains. There you will find traditional architecture and beautiful countryside.
Parked cars with Prague license plates at ancient trees is a thing that you would see if you had travelled in summer to Kacerov (15 km from Rychnov nad Kneznou). In the following season, Kacerov becomes a solitary place. I love it for one concrete location – a church and its cemetery.
When young Count Ervin Kinsky lost his fondness of former chateau, now called Stary Zamek, he intended to built a representative residence for the family. The construction of Novy Zamek took place between the years 1829-1833. The old Baroque-style chateau with two stories is separated from the gardens by royal road. It has remained the seat of the dominion.
If you like beautiful, remote places spiced by interesting past and present there is one I am going to tell you about today. The place is called Neratov situated in the Orlicke Mountains. Neratov has a temple with unique roof of glass.
Častolovice is a picturesque town situated in East Bohemia, located close to Orlické Mountains, in an altitude of 268 metres above sea level, in eastern direction from Hradec Králové, and 35 kilometres distant from Pardubice. Thanks to its position, rich cultural and social life and sightseeings, Častolovice is a frequent target of many visitors.
