The village of Topolčianky, surrounded by the slopes of Pohronský Inovec and the Tríbeč Mountains, stretches along the old Slavic road that led from the lower Pohronie to the upper Nitra. The town with more than 2800 inhabitants offers to see a beautiful castle, the National Stud Farm and the Zubří Zoo. So let's go for a walk.
The district city of Nové Zámky originally built on the marshes, is situated on the banks of the river of Nitra and in addition to the city's cultural heritage offers its residents and visitors a wealth of sports and leisure centres, which are characteristic of it.
Today we visit the town of Tesarske Mlynany in the district of Zlate Moravce. The town is situated on both riverbanks of the Zitava River. It is a home to a Roman-Catholic church built in 1763, a 1841 chapel, and recently renovated granary which hosues a museum today and one unusual attraction
Today we visit city called the mother of all Slovakian cities- Nitra. We decided to spend some number of days in this city to learn about it as much as possible. It is spread over seven hills, and has magnificent nature, sights, and interesting history.
We concluded our hike across Nitra at “historical” graffiti last week. It was interesting for us and it also showed us the direction we would choose. Not even a minute later we were on maintained Zupni Square and a yellow building as its landmark.
In our today’s journey across Slovakia we visit a remarkable ruin located in the region of Trnava only 3 kilometers from Dechtice. People call it Katarinka yet its official name is church and monastery of Saint Catherine of Alexandria.
