Beskydy - Czech republic

Beskydy  Mountains are  situated  in the eastern part of Czech Republic near to the border with  Poland and Slovakia . They are formed by Moravian and Silesian Beskydy and its environs, Štramberk Highlands and the northern part of Vsetín Hills. The  highest point of Beskydy is  Lysá hora (1323 m), on  the frontier of Poland and Slovakia , in an area of Oravské and Zywiecké Beskydy there is Babia hora (1725 m). On the territory of Beskydy there is extending Protected Natural Area Beskydy.

Travný is an afforested hill situated in Beskydy Mountains in Moravia-Silesia Region, in an area of Lysá-Hora Highlands, between communities of Morávka and Krásná.

Top of a hill is placed in an altitude of 1203 of sea level is partially afforested, with a view to the west to Lysá hora (Bald Mountain), to north-west on towns of Frýdek-Místek, Ostrava and surrounding communities, and to the north to range of Prašivá-Javorový. On top there is no challet, nor similar tourist equipments, so it is not preferred for often visits.

It is an ideal place for blueberries collection. On this area, it is situated a nature reservation Travný potok (Grass Brook).
