Bílé Karpaty (White Carpathian Mountains) - Czech republic

Bílé Karpaty Mountains are situated in southeast part of Czech Republic, near to the Slovakian border. The mountain range beginns at Zarieči in Slovakia and ends near Valašské Klobouky where is turning  again to the Slovakian border.  The mountains are limited with valley of river Váh and Low-Moravian Dale. The biggest peak is Velká Javořina (970 m).

In 1980 there was created  Protected Natural Area Bílé Karpaty and in 1996 this area was given on a list of biospherical  UNESCO reservations.

CZ, Milotice – Baroque Fairy-Tale

A trip to Buchlov castle was so enchanting we decided to spend another weekend at Czech castles and chateaus. This time we decided Milotice set closer to us. The chateau is located at the edge of the town bearing the same name.
