Bílé Karpaty (White Carpathian Mountains) - Czech republic
Bílé Karpaty Mountains are situated in southeast part of Czech Republic, near to the Slovakian border. The mountain range beginns at Zarieči in Slovakia and ends near Valašské Klobouky where is turning again to the Slovakian border. The mountains are limited with valley of river Váh and Low-Moravian Dale. The biggest peak is Velká Javořina (970 m).
In 1980 there was created Protected Natural Area Bílé Karpaty and in 1996 this area was given on a list of biospherical UNESCO reservations.Lokalities Subjects | Articles Photogalery | Videogallery Discussion |

CZ, SR: White Carpathians - Trip to Velky Lopenik
The tower on Velky Lopenik (911 m) is made of the combination of stone, concrete and wood. It was finished in 2005 as a symbol of the friendship between Czechs and Slovaks to commemorate their meetings at the border between their countries.
