Český les (Bohemian Forest) - Czech republic
Český les is a highland situated in southwest Bohemia nedar to the border with Germany.
This mountain-range is extending from Cheb-Basin ap to Všeruby-Hignland dividing Český les from Bohemian Forest. The highest point is Čerchov ( 1042 m), where you can find Kurz look-out-tower, according to Dr.Vilém Kurz, founder of Czech Tourists Club.

CZ: The Czech Forest - Home Not Only To Protected
Beautiful Bohemian Forest is interesting in many ways. Not only, this corner of our state has the cleanest air, but the landscape is nearly untouched by man, so you can see some protected species of animals - such as beaver.
An adult beaver weighs only 30 kg and for choosing their home areas with little running water. Dams he builds mostly at night. The building material is wood, oak and ash, for which he walks and 50 m from shore. Beaver is able to bite tree trunk that has diameter of 70 cm. This aquatic rodent feed primarily bass and twigs of willow and poplar.
