Jeseníky Mountains - Czech republic
Protected Natural Area Jeseníky Mountains is the most norhern mountain range of Czech Republic, containing Hrubý Jeseník and the respective parts of Hanušovice and Zlaté Hory Highlands of total area of 74 000 ha. It was declared here the birds reservation area Jeseníky
(52228 ha) and important birds area Jeseníky (74391 ha).

Bruntál district
This educational path follows yellow marked tourist trail. It heads for deeply cut valley of mountain small river of Bílá Opava. This path is quite difficult and it is not passable for cyclists. Bílá Opava river offers a view to 8 meters high waterfall. Virgin forest copse was preserved till now in this locality. The information desk gives you more detailed information, and you find here six tables altogether. Bílá Opava Valley is declared as Praděd National Nature Reservation, and its extend has 280 ha. This valley is most visited area in Jeseníky Mountains. Nevertheless, we recommend you not to visit this area in winter. At this time period, there are many restrictions here.
