Jeseníky Mountains - Czech republic
Protected Natural Area Jeseníky Mountains is the most norhern mountain range of Czech Republic, containing Hrubý Jeseník and the respective parts of Hanušovice and Zlaté Hory Highlands of total area of 74 000 ha. It was declared here the birds reservation area Jeseníky
(52228 ha) and important birds area Jeseníky (74391 ha).

Our circular excursion could be started in Branná-railway station. The route heads partially along green and yellow marked tourist trails. The route climbs throughout forest paths up to Jeseníky Mountain Range. On its top part, there are to be found Pasák (Shepherd) Rocks. These are various rocks with interesting crumbled forms. They form rock-wall 250 m long and up to 30 m high. From the top, you can enjoy marvellous views, including Kralický Sněžník Peak. This route is suitable for foot-passangers. However, some sections are not suitable for cyclists. Along the route, you find 14 stops.
