Jeseníky Mountains - Czech republic
Protected Natural Area Jeseníky Mountains is the most norhern mountain range of Czech Republic, containing Hrubý Jeseník and the respective parts of Hanušovice and Zlaté Hory Highlands of total area of 74 000 ha. It was declared here the birds reservation area Jeseníky
(52228 ha) and important birds area Jeseníky (74391 ha).

From Karlova Studánka Up To Praděd And Back
Cycling of curve
Bruntál district
Would you prepare for the route which is quite difficult, especially from physically point of view. Your excursion could be started in Karlova Studánka. You continue your drive, following blue marked cycling path No. 6075. On your left side, Suť Hill (1224 metres above sea level), with rock glacier and great „stone-sea“ is arising above you. On your right part, blue marked tourist trail Bílá Opava (White Opava) is passing.
You drive through national nature reservation Praděd. It is a complex of natural groups of forests and mountain meadows of highest parts of Jeseníky Mountains. Blue marked tourist trail leads you, on your right side, upstairs, to Praděd, the highest peak of Moravia.
From here, you continue your drive - between Velký Jezerník and Malý Děd Mountains, around Výrovka and Velký Klínovec, towards Červenohorské sedlo, known holiday centre. Around Velký Klín and Jeřáb, you continue ahead, following blue marked cycling route No. 6154, across nature monument Vysoký vodopád (Great Waterfall), and around Česnekový potok, you return, across the community of Vidly, following marked cycling route No. 6029, back to Karlova Studánka.
