Orlické Mountains - Czech republic
Orlické Mountains are situated on the border with Poland and Czech Republic, in north-east Bohemia. The highest point is Velká deštná (1115 m). Metuje, Bělá and Divoká (Wild) Orlice rivers flow through these mountains. For this area is typical national architecture and many monuments. Part of Orlické Mountains was declared as Protected Natural Area in 1969.

The whole area is suitable for cycling and relax. You can choose its difficulty stage, according to terrain conditions, there is variagated choice of terrains available. This tourist route is connected – along its complete length - with local marked cycling routes. It is worth to visit the town of Jeseník as well as holiday area Pastviny, including valley dam on Divoká Orlice-river. As far as historical sightseeings are concerned, there are the castles in Náchod and in Nové Město nad Metují available, welcoming you for visit.
