Šumava (Bohemian Forest) - Czech republic
Bohemian Forest is one of the oldest mountain range of Europa. It is a biggest Natural Park in Czech Republic (69 030 ha). Bohemian Forest is situated on the Border of Czech Republic with Germany and Austria. It is formed by rocks of Primary mountains origin. As Natural Park it was declared in 1991. There are many monuments here. The tourists have choice for spending of nice holidays as in winter as in summer. The highest point of Šumava names Plechý (1378 m).

Your excursion could be started from the community of Hartmanice, following cycling route No.2118, via former military rifle-rande Stodůlky, continuing across slope of Křemelná-river, towards a place where blue and green marked tourist trails are crossing. So, you turn to the right and mount up to the top of Poledník Hill. Your effort will be rewarded with phantastic circular view. Here, you can take your refreshment, and discuss your experience with another tourists.
Further, you return to the path below, and turn aside on cycling route No. 2113 towards Prášily Lake. You return back again, and continue direction to the community of Prášily. From here, you continue the same route towards a chapel on former Hůrka, on cycling route No. 2115, turning to the right to cycling route No. 2119, and again, to the left, following cycling route No.33. You arrive to the community of Sklené, turn aside to the left, and shortly to the right on road around Hofmann Mill Hill.
On roads crossroad, you turn to the right, and through Pstružný brook Valley you arrive back to Hartmanice.
