Kozie Chrbty ridges are situated in north-east Slovakia, in Žilina and Prešov Regions, in Liptovský Mikuláš and Poprad districts. The complex belongs to Fatra-Tatra area, which forms a part of Internal West Carpathian Mountains.

The highest hill:
Kozí kámen (Goat´s Hill). This hill has two peaks, connected with narrow rocky ridge, 1255 metres above sea level.

SK: Kozi Chrbty – Beautiful Winter Beauty of Kozi Kamen
Kozi Kamen – a mountain of 1 255 meters makes the highest peak of the Kozie Chrbty mountains. It stretches in the Dubrava submountains in an area between Svit and Vikartovce. Kozi Kamen is so popular among tourists for great vistas. First, you will spot the High Tatras right before you. There are also some Tatranian peaks visible such as Krivan, Velke Solisko, Satan, Vysoka, Koncista, Gerlachovsky pyramidal peak, Slavkovsky pyramidal peak, Lomincky pyramidal peak. The vistas over the basins of the Tatras, the Western Tatras, Low Tatra mountains are all very impressive and beautiful Kozi Kamen is a great trip for peopel who love easy hikes. The viast from up there is amazing as you may see the highest mountain range in Slovakia.
