Podtatra Furrow is placed in north of Slovakia, in Regions of Žilina and Prešov, in Liptovsky Mikuláš, Tvrdošín, Dolný Kubín, Kežmarok and Poprad districts. The complex belongs to Podholno-Magura area, which forms a part of Outer West Carpathian Mountains.
