Považsky Inovec is nucleus Mountain Range, situated in West Slovakia, in Trenčín, Regions of Trnava and Nitra, in Bánovce nad Bebravou, Hlohovec, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Piešťany, Topolčany and Trenčín districts. The complex belongs to Fatra-Tatra area, which forms a part of Internal West Carpathian Mountains.

Piešťany Spa is placed in west part of Slovakia at slope of Považský Inovec Hills. It belongs to very popular places, very often visited, first of all, by tourists from abroad. Transport possibilities are enlarged also with air-transport. From Piešťany, there are organized many regular as well as charter flights. In spa, there are welling up ten mineral sources at the temperature of 67-69° C, containing calcium, natrium, carbonide and sulphur. The springs are suitable for internal as well as outer use. In balneotherapy, there are being used salutary effects of sulpur-mud, being created at thermal water springs. The spa is specialized for treatment of moving apparatus and nervous diseases. There are offered relax as well as regenaration stays with use of your leisure time in water and steam world, or at golf or tennis playing.
