Sulov Hills Range is situated in north-west part of Slovakia, in Žilina and Trenčín Regions, in Bytča, Považská Bystrica and Žilina districts. The complex belongs to Fatra-Tatra area, which forms a part of Internal West Carpathian Mountains.

SVK: Lietava Castle Ruin
The ruins of Lietava Castle are situated on steep rocky range of Cibulak Hill, placed inside Sulov Hills. In past, this castle was very famous, with its history to 13th century. Anyway, at present, Lietava is extent but relatively preserved castle ruin, popular as tourist target. From the castle, you can enjoy marvelous outlook in the environs. The castle ruins are accessible for public free of charge, all year round. Attention, the access in allowed on your own danger! You get there, following marked tourist trails from the communities of Lietava or Lietavska Svinna.

Sulov Hills, including its surrounding mountain ranges, are very popular with all nature lovers as well as with mushroom-picklers. You can find there many tourist trails, offering wonderful views on many places.
